Team Member Highlight: Cole Christian, P.E.

As one of the newest members of our team, we are excited to welcome Cole Christian, P.E. to our Civil Engineering Department in Bryan, Texas. A graduate of Texas A&M University, he received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2018 and received his Professional Engineering License in February of 2021. Upon completion of an engineering degree, it typically requires 4 years of working as an Engineer in Training (EIT) to receive a Professional Engineering License. However, Cole worked through college and applied the hours toward his EIT experience! When asked what drove him to complete his license in less time he said, "I honestly did not expect to finish my training early; I was just blessed to have the opportunities that I did to obtain the experience much faster than anticipated."

Originally from Denton, Texas, he and his wife now call Bryan, Texas their home after having both attended Texas A&M. Mr. Christian began his studies in mechanical engineering but after having worked for a civil engineering firm while in school, he changed his focus to civil engineering. "I always knew that I wanted to be some sort of engineer growing up because I sought to understand how different things worked and were constructed. Even now, one of my favorite things about living out my dream, is the chance to see what I have designed be constructed and fixing problems that exist for our clients."
